Who We Are

 

Adeza Care Homes Ltd was established in 1998 to provide residential care for children looked after by local authorities. There are two operational sites located at Leytonstone and Leyton in London Borough of Waltham Forest.

 

The Leytonstone site works with children and young people aged 11 and 18 years, while the Leyton site supports young people aged 14 to 18 years who are ready for semi- independent living.

 

The purpose of the organisation is to develop, provide and support high quality caring opportunities for children and young people.

Our Team

Our team consists of dedicated, experienced and qualified staff who have extensive skills, knowledge and experience in working with children and young people with complex needs.

 

All members of the staff team are trained or being trained to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in working with children and young people.

 

As part of the team we also have qualified social workers, a qualified nurse, qualified teachers and expert consultants in education, training and child psychology. We also have qualified practice teachers and mentors onsite.

Achievements

  • Commended by Ofsted for outstanding standards in management and good outcomes for service users.

  • A comprehensive semi-independent programme - "READY, STEADY, GO" used to prepare young people for independent living.

  • Received the Investors in People award and an excellent report (renewed December 2008)

  • Education and training – successfully support and provide Social Work student placements for universities and other Higher Education Institutions.
